American architect PETER MARINO was commissioned to redesign the ZEGNA stores which first opened its doors as a London home for the brand in 1987. What has emerged in the same space is a gleaming, modern interior designed by the architect PETER MARINO and inspired by ZEGNA’s beginnings as a textile mill founded in 1910 in Trivero. PETER MARINO said about the store design: “The concept is of weaving and the movement of the loom — you can almost hear the noise of the loom.” “I wanted something extremely edgy but that the wealthy, conservative man would feel comfortable in, too.” #PeterMarino #ErmenegildoZegna
